WARM SPICED MILK

This warming and comforting drink is perfect in the evening before sleep. It is better to wait around 2 hours after dinner to enjoy this relaxing drink. The addition of nutmeg acts as a sedative and the cardamom helps with digesting dairy.

  • 120ml organic milk (preferably raw or un-homogenised)

  • ½ tsp ghee

  • 1/8 tsp each cardamom & cinnamon, plus pinch nutmeg

  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Warm the ghee & spices in a pan before adding the milk. Continue to warm gently until just before boiling. Turn off the heat & add the maple syrup if desired.
